About UsAbout Barley Mill Rehabilitation…Barley Mill Rehabilitation was established in 1980 by Greg Rybicki, PT. Initially located in a 1250 sq. ft. facility in Barley Mill Plaza, we relocated to our current location in 1992. This facility of over 3,000 sq.ft. has allowed us to greatly expand our exercise area and create an extensive Work Hardening Center that allows injured workers to simulate their occupations and/or the critical aspects of their job. Personal care…Many of our patients come to us on the referral of their physicians. We also are proud to mention that many of our patients choose to come here based upon the recommendation of former patients - often another family member, co-worker, or friend. We are also pleased to note that many patients choose us because they know they will receive one-on-one care by the same physical therapist - an assurance of quality, consistent care. We're fully equipped to help our patients get better…At Barley Mill Rehabilitation, you'll find a full range of equipment and therapies to aid in pain relief and rehabilitation. After each patient's initial evaluation, an individualized treatment plan is established. This treatment plan may include various manual techniques and/or modalities that might include traction, ultrasound, various forms of electrical stimulation, whirlpool, and a personalized exercise plan. Most patients are instructed in a home exercise program to assist in their recovery. Everyone should know how they can prevent injury…We believe it's much easier to avoid injury with a little preventive know-how. We take time to educate and alert our patients to be skilled in preventing injury or re-injury. With a combination of education, exercise, and an ongoing maintenance program, we teach our patients how to manage their own pain. We instruct them in correct postures, correct body mechanics, and proper exercise to decrease pain. |
